NEGOTIATIONS REPORT FOR AHOLD eCOMMERCE  (STOP & SHOP)

President Niccollai reported today that the Company and the Union are engaged in continuing negotiations in an attempt to reach a Contract Settlement by Saturday, May 18, 2019.  The demands submitted by the membership for no co-pay family full-time medical and no co-pay associate medical are extremely expensive.  In addition, we are stressing the need for a generous wage package.  The Union and the Company also continue to discuss other economic issues.

As we all know, Stop & Shop failed to reach an Agreement in New England prior to the commencement of an 11-day strike.  Obviously, neither side in these negotiations would like to see a strike, but President Niccollai indicated that our Ahold eCommerce members have real concerns which must be addressed by the Company.

We will continue to keep the membership informed as our negotiations continue and we get closer to our contract expiration date.
